Great Hotel for the Price
We stayed here on a Monday through Friday in April, so we got a really good rate. Also this is one of the few places here that would accept our Chihuahua. Our room had a good view of the gulf, it was attractive and comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was plentiful, and not at all crowded (probably due to the time of year.)
The one negative I found in an otherwise very clean and fresh room was the carpet. It was extremely stained...maybe due to previous pets?...but there was no unpleasant odor at all, just the stains.
Something else to be aware of - if you want an ocean view, ASK for it, and be prepared to pay a little (very little) extra. It's well worth the money to us.
Unique Quality: They didn't charge us extra or even ask for a deposit for our chihuahua. They did tell me they only accept pets under 20 pounds, although we saw one dog that surely weighed at least 50.
