This hotel was fairy good in terms of comfort, amenities, service, etc. Nothing seemed below par. My room was very clean!!! The pillows, I noticed, were unusually fluffy. Other than that, our hotel room ws just nice, if otherwise slightly boring.
If you stay here for any amount of time, you absolutely MUST MUST MUST get a room with an oceanfront view as the view is in itself worth the $100 or so you are most likely paying for the room! Also, the rooms facing the ocean have balconies with deck chairs, where you can read and/or sunbathe. The main attraction of this hotel is of course its proximity to the beach, as it is right across the road. However, if you don't want to swim there, the hotel itself has a GREAT pool. It's fairly large, and it is cleaned on a daily basis. The grounds of the hotel are well-kept, and I noticed that they had some awesome-looking trees (not that anybody else cares :P)
Very highly recommended!

Nice for us - three couples with small kids. Safe, close to the beach. Many amenities. Beautiful house and a great price for so many of us staying together. This place sleeps 2 to 17 individuals.
This is a perfect place to rent out a condo with a family or (2) as we did. Checked in Wed. evening, late as we drove in from Houston. Stayed Thursday through Sat. checked out Sunday AM. For $1,000 per couple, well worth it. Only need to bring groceries for the cook should you prefer to cook as we did.
Staff was excellent and the resort was not crowded, picked up some on Sat. but was very resonable. Kids had their own water slide and lazy river, plus shallow pools for beginner swimmers (our sons are 4-1/2). Private sea-wall & beach meant no annoying traffic. Outdoor BBQ facilities anyone could use at anytime, only rule was a 2 hours limit if people were waiting, but they never were. There was always at least one cov ered BBQ station open.
Also a game room for older kids and play room for toddlers, etc.
One down side, the pool swim up bar no longer serves food, yet no big deal.
