We were served a delicious breakfast in this pretty formal dining room. The aroma of coffee and other tasty things drifted up the stairway.
Neil set what Dee had expertly prepared for us that morning on a crisp, white linen tablecloth.
We greeted the day with frozen fruit cocktail, a mini round of sausage, a generous wedge of 'hash bake' and strips of cantalope and berries. Coffee or tea and apple juice or cranberry/raspberry juice were offered as beverages.
We shared the table with a amiable couple from Arlington,Texas visiting their university student and a pleasant woman from Houston on R&R. Other guests had chosen an earlier breakfast time and were already on their way to their chosen activities/sights.
Outside the dining room a closet held a small refrigerator stocked with cold drinks and ice for B&B visitors, which was a thoughtful addition.

Outgoing innkeepers, Dee and Neil Rapp, do all they can to make your stay a comfortable one in Georgetown.
San Gabriel House (circa 1908) boasts five Victorian-style guest rooms with private baths, a luxurious dining room where a hearty breakfast is served each morning, a parlor furnished in the period with tv/dvd viewing and cozy seatings on the front porch.

We lodged in the Lincoln Bedroom, aptly named since the bed resembles that which once belonged to Abraham Lincoln. A wondrously comfy mattress hastened dream time!
White lacy curtains underlay the rich tapestry drapes in colors of gold and burgundy accenting the windows, while the room held plush floral area rugs, a humpback trunk (holding additional pillows and blanket), antique chair and marble topped Victorian dresser.
A muted gold-on-gold striped comforter, shams and decorative pillows graced the bed. A good-sized closet held padded and pants hangers, plus an iron/ironing board.
We enjoyed our stay immensely! See additional tip following....
