The Lodge at Fossil Rim: Stay in a safari tent...
The Lodge at Fossil Rim is located in Fossil Rim wildlife park. They offer lodge-type accomodations, but also offer safari tents, which is where we stayed. The tents are air-conditioned and heated, and include 2 twin beds and a bathroom with shower. The tents are small, but very nice and were quite fun to be in. The tents overlook one of the park's watering holes, so we were able to sit outside and watch the animals! There is a pavilion near the tents that is very nice; most of the walls are glass for better viewing. The pavilion is open 24 hours a day; it has snacks and an honor bar. It is also where breakfast is served each morning. Overall, it was a fun experience! I took my 16 year old, and she just loved it!!

Glen Hotel
This old hotel was built in 1928 and still operates today. Its just a block away from the courthouse square. They have 24 rooms which are all available with private baths, TV. and aircon.

Just up behind the Courthouse is the White Gables Inn. This accommodation is a bed and breakfast with 5 private entrance rooms all with private bathrooms. A full breakfast and evening dessert is included.
