Looked like a dump outside but so did the others. Had a few extras like a small refrigerator and a microwave. No computer in lobby. Not bad. Desk clerk looked bored and unhappy but Menard probably does not excite many young women. No Breakfast, no coffee :-(. $40 in April 2012.
The Kermit Inn looked acceptable outside and in, and had a few extras like a small refrigerator and a microwave. However, some of the lights did not work and the computer in the lobby appeared to be infected with malware or a virus. Acceptable breakfast, The problem was it is too expensive for what you get. $84 in April 2012.
$61 in April 2012. This hotel had a few extras like a SR, and a nice TV. The owner was very nice and friendly. Not a bad choice and fairly cheap for a chain hotel near a big city. The Denny's was in easy walking distance. I'd stay here again. Good alternative to staying in El Paso.

Gave me a list of rules when I checked in and made threats if I did not follow them. A few questionable people around and a possible drug deal in the parking lot at 3AM. Not much to choose from in beeville that I saw. Much better luck with the restaurants. $65 in April 2012.
Price was better than the $169 at La Quinta. Very nice room, SR/M drinks and snacks in lobby. Undergoing renovation; but not too intrusive. Breakfast was only average. No remote in room, brought to me, deadbolt did not work Liked Leah at the desk. Overall pretty nice. $125 in April 2012.
$68 in April 2012. They were asking $125 for similar motels in nearby towns. This place did not look that great but neither did the others. Cost much less than crappy hotels in Crystal City and Carrizo Springs. Better on inside anyway. Hot water comes from natural spring so it is HOT 109. Had a small refrigerator and microwave. If you deman modern facilities do not come here. Run by a nice guy.
$44 in April 2012. This hotel had a few extras, like a small refrigerator, microwave, and a great TV with limited cable. Their Internet was out but they warned me about that before I checked in. The water was scheduled to get turned off at 9 AM but I plan to be gone before then. Acceptable if you are on a limited budget and are mostly just wanting a bed.
$54 in April 2012. This hotel had a few extras, and I liked the younger Indian guy that worked there. An added bonus was seeing his beautiful 5 month old niece. Nice easy chair, small refrigerator, microwave, and a great TV with cable. In addition, the breakfast was not just the usual continental breakfast but included some hot food. There are several independent motels in town but the amenities are almost certainly not as nice. I would definitely stay here again, a good deal for the price.
It is very easy to get to from the DFW airport, Just follow 635 and Belt line rd. Ample parking spaces.
I arrived on a Thursday and after a long day of travelling was greeted by a welcome reception with free fajitas, chips and salsa, desserts, and wine, sodas, and beer.
I sat outside by the pool sipping my Zinfandel, noshing on chips.
My room was a suite with a king-sized bed, two couches, large spa rain nozzel shower.
There were clean dishes and towels. No stains on the carpets or bedbugs.
The room had a stove, clean microwave, and fridge.
If I had a complaint it would be that the hallway and room smelled like solvent (carpet glue?).

The pool was small but nice.
The lobby breakfast area was nicely equipt.
This motel was getting older but still not bad. It had a few extras like a refrigerator and a microwave. Staff was pretty nice. A decent choice for those on a budget (as long as you don't want to use the pool). $62 as of March 2011.
