Bugs. Fresh Blood on Pillow
I had a miserable time at this hotel and would not recommend it! It falls short of a 3star hotel in services along with outdated 'basics' that can't be construed as amenities. A bug infestation that may or may not have been isolated to one room is one thing, but the lackadaisical reaction of the staff makes it that more intolerable. When I informed them that bugs were crawling all around on the desk, over and probably inside of my laptop, they sent MAINTENANCE. He asked if I wanted to spray! I did not come here to work, or inhale pesticides. Suddenly I realized all that scratching and red patches on both my arms, neck, back during the night meant, bug bites. I chk the bed & discovered a dead bug on my pillow. Opposite the dead bug, a sizable blood stain..not too old, still very red. I showed it to the MAINTENANCE man noted who was picking up leaves and a feathers from the corner. Even he admitted that the room hadn't been cleaned.. or cleaned properly. The front desk person told me 2 come & get a key so i can change rms but bring ALL my stuff downstairs, as she's deactivating the key.(In 1 trip). I ask her not 2 deactivate the key until I change rms so that I do not need 2 bring ALL my bags 2 the lobby, only 2 drag them bk upstairs
Also, most hotels have flat screened TV sets, not the cumbersome TV's that are difficult to turn towards you if you are working at the desk which happens to sit right next to the air condition unit.
