    Handy location of La Quinta

    Quiet, comfortable room. Unfortunately I missed breakfast - during the week it is only from 7 - 9 am, and I came down too late. Found parking easily enough and there are restaurants just down the road. Walking distance to Lakewood Church (must walk under the freeway). Couldn't find a payphone.

    Unique Quality: Good pool. Friendly staff, but helpful if you know Spanish.

    Directions: Off Fwy 59 going from 610 Loop South from Hwy 10. I drove in from San Antonio.
