Houston has some really great restaurants. BUT, you know where the BEST place to eat in Houston is? It is at my daughter's house. She is an excellent cook. Here you see Barbara eating a tomato bisque and a great salad. We had had this soup in a restaurant and Kristen came home and duplicated it from scratch. I believe it tasted better...
You will either fly into...

You will either fly into Houston Hobby or International airports. Both are pretty good. Hobby has a contract with Southwest Airlines, and they are almost always the cheapest (if they are contracted with a certain airport). Both are relatively convenient to the city, Hobby to the south, Intl. to the north.
Dear God, the only thing I can say about getting around in Houston is, 'Pack your Valium and leave early.' Houston traffic sucks. It might have the worst traffic of any city I have ever been in.
World Class Service!
by sahel578 about Aries
I found this restaurant on Zagat.com. When I called to make a reservation I spoke to Todd. I told him that it was a special occasion and could he reserve a romantic spot for us.
Todd is incredible. As soon as we arrived, he personally greeted us. He and the rest of the staff are fantastic.
Aries has this cool thing, a tasting menu, as well as other menu items. I love the tasting menu idea, but this week it was all vegetarian. Vegetarian, I am not. I ordered the giant steak, rare.
They kept bringing us so much food to sample as well as our order. There had been a lot of work put into the presentation as well as the service.
My only tiny complaint.. I should have asked for the sauce for the steak put on the side. I thought there was too much of it and it was hiding the taste of my delicious steak.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE this restaurant

This is far from being a free visit !! Count 17.95$ per adult and 13.95$ per children and don't forget to add 4$ for the parking...
Now an easy way to get a 2$ discount per head is to print the voucher that is available from the website:
http://www.spacecenter.org/coupons.html
There is even a more subtle way to spare money. However, for some reasons, I haven't seen any mention of it anywhere but in front of the intrance desk, once the parking had already been paid!
For 19.95$ (or 74.95$ for a family), you can become a member.
What does that mean?
- that includes the intrance (17.95$ -2$ with voucher)
- free parking (4$)
So far, it could sound absolutely the same price but then you also have...
FREE ADMISSION FOR AN ENTIRE YEAR !!!
I bet it could be worth to call 281-244-2105 for some more information!!
Concerts At The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion
by H-TownJourneyman
This outdoor amphitheater, located in the The Woodlands just north of Houston, holds popular events and concerts throughout much of the year. There is a limited covered seating area at the front of the complex, and a larger grass area behind the covered area on a sloping hill. It is an excellent place to watch a live performance, and is located near a large entertainment, shopping, and dining area of The Woodlands.
