Omni Houston Hotel

Every time I stay in this hotel, with or without children, it is a great pleasure. The staff is professional, courteous, and extremely effective. The food is wonderful, inventive, artistic, and turns every meal into an event. This is a large hotel and the traffic corridor going in and out of it can be daunting and unpleasant. However, as soon as you enter the grounds, the area is magically transformed into one of peace and luxury. A clever use of green space and one of the nicest swimming pools in any Houston hotel delights me and my sons every time we stay here. Children are given special treats and toys, and are welcome throughout the hotel. Staff keeps an eye on them, so the children are both welcomed and supported. The pool is a large, long, curving affair that plays music underwater. The surrounding area is gracious, welcoming, with wonderful towels, various lounging chairs and tables, and is kept meticulously clean and tidy. The pool area manages to be both elegant and family friendly - quite a trick! The rooms are what you would expect for an Omni; most are quite tasteful. Outside noise has never been a problem, but occasionally noise from other rooms can disturb a tiny bit in some sections of the hotel.

Unique Quality: The pool and all of the restaurants do the spirit and body well.

I went to this hotel because this is the one my company generally recommend.
Well, this is one of the most confortable hotel I have ever been to.
The rooms are really big (even the single ones), the hall is really beautiful, the breackfast buffet wonderful.
The personnel is also very nice.
It may be very surprizig for most of you to read that but in France the sense of service and taking care of is not so well respected.
It's not that expensive for this range of hotel.
