Travel Tips for Irving

Take A Tour Of Texas Stadium

Our sojourn to the Dallas area this time included an official tour of Texas Stadium. It was made all the sweeter by having former Dallas Cowboy, Ralph Neely (#73) join us! This made our grandson's day and was pretty special to us, as well.

The tour guide wasn't particularly enthusiastic, but Ralph's presence elevated the experience. At the time, the stadium was preparing for a motorcross competition, so dirt was piled up everywhere. However, it was fun touring in the locker room, seeing the Stadium club and taking photographs from the seats. A visit to the pro shop was worth the stop and we purchased souvenirs to send to other family members.
