Is there a camp grounds at Schlitterbahn Water Park???
If not, where is the closest Camp Grounds,and is there a schuttle to the Water
Park? Can We take our lunch to the park,the grandkids eat,swim,and then they sleep.Typical grandkids,spoil rotten.

I googled "camping New Braunsfels" and there are quite a few camp grounds listed. I'm sure most of them will drop you off at Schlitterbahn, if not, taxis are always available. Also, you can take a full picnic into the park if you would like.
schlitterbahn doesn't have campgrounds but they do have motel rooms/condos/etc...you can read about them by clicking on Resorts on their website: http://www.schlitterbahn.com/nb/resorts.asp
and, there are probably lots of camprounds and rv parks along the guadalupe river and at canyon lake. the chamber of commerce/visitor center websites for new braunfels and canyon lake will list the various campgrounds. Guadalupe River State Park isn't too far away from N.B.
The Guadalupe River area was just a delight and such a contrast to areas further north around the Dallas area which are flat and devoid of this kind of beauty. It was so quiet except for the rippling water and the birds chirping. Definitely if you are in the New Braunfels area, this is the place to go to but avoid peak summer times when this area is really popular.
Canyon Lake is located in Comal County approximately 12 miles northeast of New Braunfels and 20 miles North of San Antonio. It is one of the deepest lakes in Texas and because of the clarity of the water, it is a popular destination for divers as well as providing all forms of water recreation.
The River Road is a 20 mile winding road that takes you to most all the river outfitters in the area. There are plenty of free places to launch tubes, canoes, or just swim, but parking is difficult in peak season so beware of private property. The river drive is extremely scenic, such lush greenery and little tumbling overflows into the main river, its lovely to just pull over and enjoy the sounds.
