Joe & Laura Laumen House

by keeweechic

This was one of the rare examples of a two-story L-plan Queen Ann style home. There are apparently over 200 L-plan houses in Palestine but most are of one story buildings. Joe G and Laura Laumen were the earliest known owners and lived in the house from 1926 until the early 1940's. Mr Laumen was a vice president of the Starr Bottling Works which later became the Coca-Cola bottling company in the early 1930's.
