We stopped in palestine to visit with our grandchildren on the way through to Galveston last November.The rooms were clean with plenty of towels and also a mini fridge.They have a pool ,but it was not open that time of year.Jack in the box(fast food) is across the street and a conveinance store ,wal-mart and dine in resturaunts right down the street
