Diamond in the Rough...Just Like Port Aransas

This is a condo complex that's informal, great value for the money, and a heck of a change from the "concrete jungle" mega-complexes running down Mustang Island. Rates are great for the space (normal 2 BR is over 1000 sq. ft.), big outside decks, direct access to boardwalk to beach, and general feel of "at home". Whole place is undergoing updates (both individual Units and overall complex), so should get even better with time. Talk to local Manager about which Unit(s) meet your needs best as each is different in style, views/sunlite exposure, etc. Parking is tight (one parking garage spot per Unit), so bear that in mind if you have big crowd, boat, etc...there is some overflow parking, but not much. Pool may be small, but it's clean and rarely crowded. Makes for a nice dip after a hard day on the beach. Beach is great as it's not crowded due to location half way between public access points. Has game room for kids/teens with pool, foosball, etc. Lots of stairs, so take that into consideration. Also, if forecast is "questionable", get 1st floor Unit as you can sit on deck with cover from 2nd floor balcony.

Unique Quality: Price for location, space, features, and access to beach. Web site so you can look at Units and see availability and rates for each (as well as book on line). Informal atmosphere and friendly staff. BIG balconies where you don't have to sit "single file" to accomodate a crowd.
