Homes near the new toyota plant
by rodrigo1977
Does anyone know if there are nice homes or neighborhoods near the new toyota plant?

Yes, there are many.
However, if you are talking about new housing (new subdivisions) then yes there are plently of them as well.
Actually, there is housing soon to be under construction directly across from the Toyota plant.
As for already completed new housing, there is Savanah Heights, Mission del Lago, Hunter's Pond, Monte Viejo, and others.

Travel Tips for San Antonio
National Park Rangers
by ATXtraveler
During your trip to San Antonio, you will likely stop in and see one or more of the missions. The missions carry on a unique combination of church and state, as the grounds are primarily owned and maintained by the National Park Service, while the actual cathedral and services are still privately run by the Catholic church and the parishes of San Antonio. It is one of the most clear cut examples of how church and state can co-exist in harmony even though they are separate entities. In particular, you will get excellent information and guidance if you take advantage of the National Park Service’s Rangers. They were highly knowledgeable and passionate about educating you on the topic of the San Antonio Missions, and best of all, it is a free service!
San Antonio City Hall
by Yaqui
Built 1888 and is located in the center of Military Plaza. The architecture is Italian Renaissance Revival and designed by Otto Kramer. It is just another lovely historical building that San Antonio takes much pride in. I can truly appreciate the history this building and important is has been to the development of San Antonio’s government.

Something different!!
by qednick about India Oven
It took me long time to get my wife to try Indian food but we finally went to this restaurant and she got Chicken Tikka Masala and has loved it ever since. It's very well priced and the food is always fantastic. The people are very friendly there. It's such a shame that more Americans have not discovered the delights of Indian food yet. It's something quite different and I highly recommend it. In San Antonio, like many other larger US cities, I think there's only about 3 or 4 Indian restaurants total. Chicken Tikka Masala. My wife always asks for it slightly mild. It's big chunks of white meat chicken in a savoury sauce and comes with long grain white rice. We always get it with regular naan bread which is kind of like thick fluffy tortillas.
Lunch in Market Square
by KimberlyAnn about Mi Tierra Café Y Panaderia
In Market Square we had lunch at Mi Tierra Café Y Panaderia. Here we ate a nice Mexican meal and listened to traditional Inka music being played on the street near-by. The decorations were festive in the Mexican tradition.
Go and see the Alamo .... just...
by Ben-UK
Go and see the Alamo .... just a short walk from the centre.
In 1836, 189 Texas volunteers defied a Mexican army of thousands for 13 days. The Alamo defenders died to the last man, among them William Travis, Davy Crockett, and Jim Bowie.
