You must visit the Alamo and River Walk in San Antonio. Those things you must do. While you are there stop and pick up some brochures and maps to decide what else the city has to offer which appeals to you. My Becky and I spent only a day and a half sight seeing in San Antonio. The city has so much to see that we did not have time to visit all the places we would like to. On this page I've included some tips about the places we did go. Here is a list of places we wanted to go and did not have time for... SeaWorld, all of the old missions, Six Flags Fiesta Texas, The Texas Adventure, Monarch Collectibles, Art Museum, Circus Museum, Tower of Americas, Buckhorn Saloon, and Cowboy Museum. I read about these things in the brochures but there just was not time to go to every thing.

Awesome Guacamole!
by shargurl about Boudro's
We ate here because the restaurant is in the book "1,000 Places to See Before You Die". I'm glad we did! If it wasn't in the book, I don't think we would've eaten here because it is a little too pricey for me.
We emailed our reservation for 7:30pm, and they confirmed for 8pm. Upon arrival, I gave them our name and they had us down for 7pm so the hostess asked us to wait along with others, but the manager came up and promptly seated us on the patio. If you ever been to the riverwalk, you know you are sitting and eating amongst the crowd so although it is very cramped (especially for the waiters), we still felt cozy. THE BEST GUACOMOLE! We ordered the Gacamole for two and this was the best guacomole I have ever had. It even beats what I had in Cozumel, Mexico! The waiter prepared it right in front of us and mmm mmm!

Good food, Great varity and selection on the Menu. Most of the wait staff have been there a while and can reccommend specialties if your not familier with the Tex-Mex cuisine. Bartender knows his stuff too.... The veggie enchalad plate
