La Quinta Inn San Antonio Convention Center

The service was excellent. They charged $18.45/day for parking. For that, at 3am on 05/05/2012 our car was broken into along with 5 others! I feel as though some sort of restitution is in order! There should have been better security!

Directions: River walk

i came in for the san antonio marathon. it was a great location to the alamodome and the finish line. it was across the street from the river center mall and walking distance to the riverwalk and alamo. it was across the street from dennys. i booked it with hotwire.

Unique Quality: pool, fitness center, tv, internet connection for laptop, fridge, microwave, guest laundry and good amenities. overall cleanliness was good.

Stayed at this La Quinta Inn in 7/07. Very convenient to River Walk,
also for those going out to Fort Sam Houston.
Clean, new, helpful staff. I had a suite - desk, TV, living room & mini fridge
and bedroom. Breakfast part of the room charge. Bar and lobby.
Walked about 2 blocks down & one over to River Walk past far more expensive
hotels. Just fine for business & budget-minded travelers.

Unique Quality: Price for a suite far less than what I paid for a teeny, dirty room recently in Santa Barbara CA.

There are meeting rooms in the hotel & near the convention center for larger groups.
Pool (I didn't have time to swim) and gym.
