La Quinta Inn San Antonio Lackland

HORRIBLE!!!! MY STAY WAS HORRIBLE, THE 1ST ROOM GIVEN TO ME WAS #122, THE CARPET THERE WAS SOAKED & NOT TO MENTION THE ROOM STUNK LIKE MOLD, CALLED THE OFFICE AND THE LADY NAMED AMBER GAVE MY FAMILY AND I THE 2ND ROOM, #128, THE AC THERE WASN'T WORKING, CALLED THE OFFICE AGAIN, SHE SAID SHE WOULD HAVE TO GET MAINTENENCE OUT THERE, APPARENTLY SHE DIDN'T WANT TO GET US OUT OF THERE, FINALLY SHE AGREED TO GIVE US ANOTHER ROOM. THAT ROOM WAS INFESTED WITH CRICKETS (DISGUSTING!!). WELL, AT THE POOL IS ANOTHER STORY,AS WE SHOW UP TO SWIM, LAWN CHAIRS IN THE WATER? DIDN'T SEEM TO BOTHER ANYONE ELSE, I WAS UPSET, THIS HOTEL DOESN'T CARE IF GUESTS DRINK ALCOHOL IN BOTTLES AT THE POOL. MY DAUGHTER STEPPED ON GLASS IN THE POOL THE NIGHT WE WERE THERE. WE CALLED THE FRONT OFFICE TO COMPLAINT, SOME LADY(SARAH) WAS UNABLE TO HELP. TOOK IT TO MANAGEMENT IN THE MORNING, THE MANAGER SAID MAINTENENCE WAS FISHING OUT BEER BOTTLES ALL MORNING, TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE, THE WORST PART I WENT TROUGH LASTMINUTETRAVE.COM, AND I COULDN'T CANCELLE MY RESERVATION.

Pleasant staff. close to the medical school and also close to the airport

I stayed at the La Quinta Inn just outside of Lackland Air Force Base back in 1997. It was a brand new hotel with clean rooms, nice furnishings, and plenty of parking. The area here is seedy, so you don't want to do a lot of walking...

Yuo can, however, walk to Lackland Air Force Base and Wilford Hall Medical Center. Proximity to the AF Base is the single biggest draw to this hotel. None are closer to Wilford Hall!
