See the 4-time world champion Spurs play at the AT&T Center. There are a wide range of ticket prices (www.ticketmaster.com) for all budgets. The AT&T Center staff usually hand-out some kind of promotional item/noisemaker when you enter the building. You can bring a small camera, but leave the long lens at home. You'll have to check it with security!
Half Price Books is a great place to go if you're looking for great deals but don't necessarily want to buy used books. The store has used books but it also has lots of surplus inventory which means you can get new books at a really good price. There are four different locations in San Antonio and the selection is quite different from one store to the other. For my part, I liked the one located on Broadway the best. Books, what else?! Not much, I got a brand new $22 novel for $4.

the chart house restaurant is located at the top of the tower of the americas in hemisfair park. the chart house is a chain of better steak and seafood restaurants. the chart house offers an impressive view of downtown san antonio. a fun place to have lunch or dinner when in san antonio.
El Paseo del Rio or River Walk is the most charming area of San Antonio. This area was prone to floods and many wanted to pave the river over. Instead it was saved in 1914 when it was converted to a park. Today San Antonio River Walk is lined with many great restaurants, bars, and hotels.
