No AC even though it was 105 degrees during the day. The room was about 95 degrees at midnight when I arrived. Charged me $90 to sweat! No refund! Dump! Emailed home office several times. I finally got a form letter. It appears my complaint was never read. This corporation does not care. The customer is the enemy!

Travel Tips for San Marcos

San Marcos

"A too tiring trip to Texas"

ESPANIOL
Bueno, me llevaron.

Maniacos!

ENGLISH
Situated at the middle between San Antonio and Austin, San Marcos lives thanks to the great activity of the interstate highway 35. Here there are two big outlets that attract Americans and Mexicans alike. That's why we went there. Well, they took me there. Some friends invited me to go shopping to these outlets for several days. After 14 hours driving a van we arrived. I was more in the touristic mood than in the shopping stance. I can't stand 3 hours in a mall, much less 3 days as they pretended. I bought a few things and, while they were getting in deep debt for the rest of the year, I rented a car and went to travel by Texas.

I went to Austin (see my page) for a couple of days and returned to San Marcos. I met a nice American girl there and became friends. We are still in touch. She is learning Spanish now. My friends and all our belongings were not a the hotel and I thought they abandoned me. But no, they were at the outlets in last minute buys! Maniacs!
