Livin' in Seabrook
I've lived in Seabrook for almost 10 years. It's a quaint seaside town where raising a family and raising a ruckus are equally at home. You can go to the grocery store in bare feet if you'd like and no one will look sideways at you (but I wouldn't advise that since the pavement can get pretty hot here in the summer). Seabrook's full of parks and walking trails that go all the way from City Hall to Pine Gully Park. It's a great tourist destination if your goal is to keep it simple and refreshing. My family loves to come visit because, at night, we get to hang out on the screened porch to catch a breeze (if there is one) while listening to the crickets and cooking up some fajitas. I hear there are some great B&B's here too if you need lodging. If you desire a bit more excitement, we're pretty close to Kemah, Galveston, and Houston.
