A Bubbling Fountain--One of Many
Tyler has some beautiful Historical Buildings, a must see if you are in the area.
Spring time must be an incredible time to visit this city, and also the Fall Rose Festival, which is on in October.
The Tyler State Park, any time of the year. It was a pleasant couple of hours, just driving around seeing the sites. We had a light meal and cappucino in a lovely cafe, before the long drive back.
Our visit to Tyler was short but sweet. I wanted to see the Rose Gardens, but they were closed so I had to sneak in. Otherwise we used Tyler just as a place to stay on our way further north.
There seemed to be plenty to do and see in the area: The Canton Flea Market, fishing, Tyler State Park, Hogg Historic site, antiquing, and much much more.
