Nice homes of Weatherford
Weatherford was a nice place to spend an afternoon driving around its historic neighborhoods. My favorite home was the W.E Tate house. It was once a bed and breakfast and sits on a hill. This Queen Anne building is as colorful as its design is intricate.
The county courthouse is built in the Second Empire style as is this home. The house has some French elements that make it very appealing.
The J. Baker home is another one of my favorites. It has a nice tower as well as a wrap around porch commanding its corner lot location.
The Greek Revival style is also evident in many Texas homes. The George Poston home is especially nice. The great columns and upper balcony help make it attractive.
