Family Ski Trips
by aussie79
I love to go skiing with my family. This resort is "family friendly" because it offers easy, intermediate, and difficult terrains. There is a ski school program for children and adults. My father taught my entire family how to ski so now we can go together and have a great time!
This only applies to winter!

If you own them, bring your skis, poles, and boots; otherwise there are several shops more than willing to rent quality equipment. Please do not forget to pack long underwear, warm socks, goggles, sunglasses, gloves/mittens, hat/ear cover, good sturdy shoes or boots, pants, sweaters, a good ski coat, ski pants, (if you don't have ski gear then bring the scotchguard water resistant spray to keep you dry) sunblock! It's so easy to get sunburnt on the slopes!! Lip balm, tissues, bandaids (if you ski like I do), cough drops, good lotion Whatever you feel comfortable using, however please remember if you fall you could break it. Granola bars are always a good snack on the slopes to help you get that extra boost of energy you will need!
Brianhead Utah-only 3 hours from Vegas!

"Brianhead 2002"
I'm on Leave from Monterey so I decided to go skiing. Brianhead is only 3 hours from Las Vegas so it seemed perfectly logical to go! (that and my parents paid for it) The snow was great and overall I had a great time.
"Brianhead 2000"
I don't have too many pictures from Brian Head. I am stupid and accidentally formatted the disc in my digital camera losing all my pictures. Fortunately, my parents brought a 35mm along and so here's me!
Copper Chase Condominiums

This is a view of our living room in the condo we stayed in. The sofa pulls out into a queen sized bed. The fireplace is gas operated so you don't have to carry around any firewood.
This shot shows part of the living room which has a bar connected to the kitchen.
This is the entry area to the condo. It immediately enters into the living room. The chair on the right also folds out into a single bed. Please excuse the mess, after a long day of skiing, things get thrown everywhere!
This is my mom (she's so cute!) getting ready for a day of skiing in our bathroom. The bathroom has 2 sections, the vanity and sink (shown) and then separated by a door the jacuzzi tub/shower and toilet (not shown).
This is our dining room, which also served as a really good place to throw my gear at the end of the day.
As you can see we had a full sized kitchen that had all the appliances you could possibly need. (microwave, toaster, blender) The kitchen is also equipped with all the necessary dishes, pots and pans.
The garage is below the building. This is great because your car doesn't get any snow on it and you can stay warm getting in and out of your car!
