Calf Creek Campground: Camping is the best option in these parts
BLM Campground along the Escalante River at Calf Creek. It's a wonderful place with the fragrant Sage head high. The sound of rushing water always in the background and the light breeze rustling through the leaves. From here, you can walk to Calf Creek Falls, take a hike up or down the Escalante. Make it your residence while exploring the wonders around you.

Canyons B&B: Small B&B = Great Experience
Well, it's our fourth year staying here and it was great as usual. Escalante is a small town and this is the premier B&B in town. The backyard has a huge 100 year old Apricot tree and a patio has been add beneath it. What a pleasure to sit outside, have a drink and a cigar!!
The rooms are probably as clean and nicely decorated as any place we've stayed. Every possible need is included. The rooms are themed and we try to stay in the Garden Room, this has a side deck that is nice in the evening. My brother and his wife had the Cabana Room and liked it a lot.
It's best to reserve in advance, there are only 4 rooms and it fills up fast in season.
Breakfast is amazing, here. Cate will pretty much make what you want but the stuffed French Toast with berries is awesome!!
When we're out in Utah we are usually hiking or Jeepin', this means water is needed. Canyons has a small kitchen at the guests disposal. It really helps to be able to have cold water in the AM.
