A Quality Deal for Downtown Moab

The Redstone Inn is the sister property to the Red Cliffs Lodge. According to a Moab local, whom I met on my trip, the owner of these hotel properties is serious about providing quality service for a fair price. I stayed at the Red Stone Inn for three nights and I was quite pleased with the property. The rooms are a bit small, but they are clean and comfortable in a oak-set environment. The staff is decently friendly and accommodating - nothing to really rave over, but acceptable. They forgot to make my room one day, but that's not that big of a deal to me.

Amenities include:
Air conditioning - Which is something you desperately need in the summer months
Kitchenette - complete with a fridge, microwave and sink
Hot tub
Pool - The pool is actually located across the street at another sister property called the Big Horn Lodge
50 rooms
Pet room - Perfect for people on road trip!
Free Internet
Guest laundry
And more

The hotel's location is also quite ideal. It's in downtown Moab only a few minutes from shops, restaurants and adventure providers such as the Moab Adventure Center.

Downfall:
The rooms are not very well insulated. So if your lodge-mates are loud, you will most likely be disturbed. But it's nothing a pair of ear plugs can't solve.

Unique Quality: I wouldn't say this hotel offers anything particulary unique. It is, however, a great deal for the value and it's also most conveniently located in downtown Moab.

Great Mom and Pop kind of place

We stayed at the Redstone for a couple of days. The motel is rustic knotty pine looking place. The room was good sized with a kitchenette nook which worked perfectly for us. When we are traveling, we only eat out once a day and that is usually lunch. There was plenty of room to relax, eat meals, and have our stuff.

We would eagerly stay here again.

Unique Quality: In a separate building there is a LARGE indoor hot tub. We were the only ones in there!! The tub and surrounds were spotless and there was no gym smell. Out side the hot tub building, there was a barbeque and picnic table area where families could cook a meal and have dinner. One night, a group sat at the tables and visited while someone played guitar- really nice. There was also another building for the laudramat, ice machine, and soda machine.
