Make sure to bring warm clothes come September as we frequently get snow and the temperature starts to drop. The days may be warm but the evenings can get into the 30s occasionally. There is always something to take a photo of - bring a good camera.
The enthusiasm on the band members faces reflects the joyous atmosphere that existed all around
Almost all of the building were sporting promotional banners like this one shown here. They were amazing.
This one is particularly nice. I wonder how it looks from inside one of those offices......Hmmm.
I couldn't help myself. Just HAD to include this one. These were so impressive.
The Peaks Ice Arena. You guessed it. This is where all the ice events were held. We love the ice...especially hockey and figure skating. Event tickets were hard to come by but you'd be surprised at what a determined person can get accomplished.
The lighting effects were a nice touch to the Opening Ceremonies. Here, the participants are filing in together.

Talk about fast ! I don't even want to think about crashing in one of these. Nope..nuh-uhn not me.
