Every year we spend a week skiing somewhere out west , flying in from Detroit. I've probably skiied the Salt Lake City area 15 times since my college days and for the last 10 years or so, we've gotten into the habit of always staying at this Chase Suites Hotel. The 2nd floor 2 bedroom units are great and worth the few extra dollars even if it's only two of you. In the first floor unit we stayed in (only once and after one night we moved upstairs) you could hear folks running around upstairs while in the upper units we've never had a problem with noise from adjacent units. The hotel is very reasonably priced and includes a breakfast buffet every morning and the outdoor heated pool has always been open in the winter when we've been there. The hotel is very close to Trolley Plaza where there are shops, restaurants and entertainement and you can easily walk downtown (or take the TRAX light rail system that runs right in front of the hotel with a stop one block away). I recommend this place to everyone I know going to Salt Lake City. The 2-bedrrrom units alse have 2 full baths and these are suites, so all untis have kitchens and a living room. It's not glamorous, but it's clean, convenient, reasonable and we've never had any regrets staying here.
