PERFECT for OVERNIGHT STOP
I have only recently become familiar with this chain of US hotels, and so far, the couple I have stayed in live up to their advertising; as they have everything the traveler needs.
Firstly, the people at reception are very friendly and helpful and their check-in is quick and easy.
The quiet rooms are nice size, with all amenities, including FREE WIFI!, coffee/tea maker, hair dryer, iron, largish bathroom, plenty closet space, many TV channels, clock, and very comfortable beds.

Very nice stay!! except one weird annoying event
Nice and comfortable and near airport. Super clean rooms, nice sized. Quiet. Did not hear any other guests or voices or noises... The annoying thing that happened was they decided to upgrade their security keys mid stay , without telling guests. They said they did it because they had been meaning to do it and never got around to it, so just decided to change all the codes on the keys.. so when i got up to my room, with some heavy bags from shopping, i couldnt get in. and i was all the way on the other side of the building not near the reception desk. I have a feeling there was some kind of security breach that they didnt want to admit to. I told them it was very inconvenient what they did and they should have alerted guests and had guests come to the desk with their ID, but at least let them know. Other than that unusual event, my stay was great. The room was clean, spacious and quiet. They had free breakfast but i did not get to try it because i had two early days. Another thing that was weird was the television. IT seemed like you had to order even regular tv shows. Perhaps there was something i was doin wrong, but it was not super easy to figure out, you just couldnt turn on the tv and watch it. Plus the quality of the picture was bad.. but it really was not a big deal because i was out most of the day and didnt watch any tv.
Unique Quality: Very good location as far as being close to highways and airport. Convenient parking, ability to access rear door with your key which is good for guests staying toward back of hotel. Coffee pot in room was nice... Accomodations were $ 59 one night and $ 69 second night. With taxes , it was
$ 144 for two nights, so was a great deal. You can join the LaQuinta rewards program too which is nice to get you points for future stays. I will definately seek out LaQuinta hotels when i travel because they are nice, quiet, comfortable and not expensive.

Salt Lake's Best Place to Stay
This particular LaQuinta had the highest rating on www.tripadvisor.com. It is a wonderful place to stay near the airport in Salt Lake City, with excellent value. Other than being difficult to locate, it's set back behind the trees and shrubs, there is everything to love about this place.
The room was very large and the bathroom was attractive and clean. The towels were spa towels - big and fluffy - the best I've ever had in a hotel or motel. The lighting was also good on the bedside tables, and in other places.
Their breakfast offered a bountiful buffet. They had fresh fruit, bagels and cream cheese, cold cereal, boiled eggs, toast and other breads and juice and you can make your own Belgium waffle.
The staff at the desk and for the shuttle was very cordial and helpful. The pool area was really lovely. It had a large, nicely decorated patio area around it.
