Campground and ranger station: The only place to stay in the park

I have not been able to stay here. It is often full. Reservations are accepted and recommended especially during the wonderful spring season.

Connected to the campground is the ranger station and small visitors center. Here you can find pictures, information and sign up for guided hikes.

Snow Canyon State Park Campground: Camping within Snow Canyon State Park

The Snow Canyon State Park Campground is open all year, and has 14 RV sites with water and electricity, 8 RV or tent, and 7 tent only sites. There is a 35 foot limit on RV size. Picnic tables, showers, and a fixed dump station are available. One thing that I found surprising, is that a maximum stay of only 5 days per month are allowed. Many of the sites are reservable, and one may reserve up to 11 months ahead of time.

Located within the beautiful state park, the paved Whiptail Trail, a great place to ride your bike, or take a walk is easily accessed from the campground.

Red Mountain Spa: Red Mountain Spa

Red Mountain Spa is a hiking and firness resort located just outside Snow Canyon State Park. The spa has hiking programs into snow canyon, some fitness programs and the spa.

A combination hiking and fitness spa. Guided hiking is offered in the mornings. There are afternoon fitness classes, private personal training sessions, a pool and a spa. Red Mountain is all inclusive so spa meals are provided along with the package.

The rates are pretty good, for a destination spa. Especially in the summer, but its unbelievably hot that time of year. In addition to the hiking trips, there are separate excursions to Bryce and Zion National Parks and chances to get away from the spa and see more of Utah.

Snowbird Conference Center and...

Snowbird Conference Center and Resort

This resort is the hot spot in the winter for skiing and a great place for summer get aways as well. I personally went in the summer but like I said before there was still snow and it was chilly. There is great hiking around the resort as well as bike paths. There are also places to have camp fires and even a mountain climbing wall that everyone was eager to attempt. The hotel itself has the feeling of a true ski lodge. There is a full gym and spa as well as plenty of restraurants within the hotel (I'm sure for those nights when everyone is snowed it).
