I stayed at the Best Western Zion Park Inn for one night during a vacation to Zion National Park. It is a very nice and new place to stay in Springdale. The entire property was very clean. The rooms are ok with nothing spectacular except for the views out of the windows. Otherwise, standard hotel decor and furnishings. The pool and hot tube are nice and they are heated. They have a nice grassy area out back that is also nice. The hotel has a very nice lobby with an attached deck to watch the sunset reflect off of the mountains. The only problem is that this Best Western does not have a complimentary breakfast included with the room. I found this odd since this is a Best Western and they usually do have complimentary breakfast included. Also, the room rates were slightly high when considering that they don't come with breakfast. Most of the other places in Sprindale do have some type of complimentary breakfast with the room. I guess that since they have a restaurant attached to the hotel that they expect guests to eat (and pay) there. I would definitely recommend this property but I myself would probably try some other property before returning to this one.
We loved staying here and were pleasantly surprised especially being a Best Western. The only negatives I would mention are that the inn has no elevator. The corner rooms have slanted celings with a large trianglke window with no curtains to keep the light out in the morning (early sunrises). The restaurant was OK and pricey, but I expect that at hotel restaurants. Rooms were confortable, cool, and clean. Looking at what seemed available in the rest of town, this seems to be the elite place in town. Would definitely stay there again.
We stayed at the Zion Park Inn for two nights with our dog. It was very comfortable, the pillows are nice and soft and the beds are just right. We really liked all of the pretty hiking paths around the back of the hotel with the gazebo and the pond. The view from our room was beautiful and the breakfast at the adjoining restaurant was reasonably priced and good. Highspeed Internet is available for $1 per 5 minutes. One thing to note is that they are doing construction on the 6 mile scenic drive in Zion, so you must take the shuttle. This meant we couldn't take Lucy (our dog) in the back of our truck. No dogs on the shuttle and you can't leave your dog in the room. So we saw Kolob Canyon and went on the one path designated for dogs in the park. That was fun. We also really liked the Springdale Fruit Company - they had amazing smoothies and good sandwiches. All in all, the people were very kind and friendly at Zion Park Inn and the room was excellent.
We recently spent a night at the Zion Park Inn, on our visit of the Zion Canyon.
The hotel is very beutiful, and has great views from the rooms. There are also porches where you can spend a lovely evening with a book and a cup of coffee.
There's free WiFi, which we always like!
The room was very nice and clean.
There's a restaurant in the place, but breakfast isn't free.
We paid $126, which isn't a very good value in my opinion, but our stay was definitely enjoyable.
A great place to stay at a bargain price. Great views of canyon wall on both sides of hotel. The lobby is a great place to hang out with a fireplace and great view of canyon with deck outside. Also lending library in lobby. Would definitely stay here again.
We arrived way off season so had no trouble getting a room and at a great price. This seems to be a very new property as everything was in great condition both in the rooms and the main lobby. We only stayed one night so can only comment on the room and the hot tub which were lovely. We will stay here next time we visit Zion and maybe even bring our dog!
We stayed 3 nights in this lovely spot and could have stayed a week. The Zion Park is a new hotel on the main road through Springdale, a small, attractive town with views to die for on all sides. The setting alone would make you want to stay but the hotel is clean and very comfortable with a lovely outdoor pool and hot tub and very helpful and friendly staff. There is an attached restaurant for an excellent and great value breakfast and other meals, plenty of other choices for eating in the village and the free Zion Park Shuttle stops outside the door. It's minutes from the park entrance and provides a quiet and excellent base for visiting the whole area.
The second ( top ) floor rooms at the back are the ones to go for although the wiews to the front are also spectacular, you can hardly go wrong and we thoroughly recommend this first class hotel.
Wow! This is not your average Best Western. A great location - right on the route for the Zion Park shuttle. It is close to the cute shops (within walking distance). Very nice back porch with rocking chairs. This is the life! Would stay here again.
