Torrey, UtahGateway to Capitol Reef
Torrey, Utah is a little known town right next to a little visited National Park. Driving through, Torrey looks like a one street small town. Like most small towns in Utah, there are no bars, no movie theatres and, to the naked eye, not much of anything. As if being in the middle of nowhere wasn't bad enough, Torreyalso pales in comparison to the scenery found on highway 12 which leads directly into Torrey proper.
I won't claim to know much about Torrey because I don't. The town makes a nice base for exploring Capitol Reef, which is how I found myself visiting.
