This was a fun place to stay. Chet, the owner, even came out to meet us when we pulled into the driveway. He's a nice guy and was very helpful.
You can stay in a traditional motel room or in a cottage. The cottages are actually a little bit cheaper than the motel rooms as they are slightly smaller.
It is located on 4 acres of park-like ground, with a nice view.
Arriving in the early evening in Bennington, we carefully looked around the city for a decent place to stay. South of downtown on Hwy 7 about half a mile is the Catamount Motel.
It's not fancy but is well kept up by a nice East Indian family. Just down the road was Friendly's restaurant, offering us both dinner and breakfast.
