Good value, nice staff
I wanted to stay w/in walking distance of downtown, but all the B&Bs were booked or did not allow children. This hotel was a quick 5 minute drive to downtown so we did not feel out of the way. Free breakfast. Wifi, pool and fitness center. The family suite was not much of a suite, but a larger room with a couch at one end (useful when the kids didn't want to be too close). Much less expensive than the local B&Bs. Amenities were what you would expect from a Holiday Inn Express. Served our needs.
Unique Quality: The staff, in particular, were helpful in guiding us to a great orchard (for apples, cheese, and maple syrup) and places to eat. They were all very friendly; felt family-run.
When traveling with a family, refrigerator in room is a plus. Microwave too. Our teens like the anonymity of the hotel better than the "friendliness" of B&Bs.
