More about Inn Victoria
All That and More at Inn Victoria
From the Lindt chocolate brownies with dried cherries that we munched on after an evening out, to graciously pressing a shirt before an evening out on the town the Inn Victoria exceeded our expectations. The owners Julie and John went to great lengths to make our stay thoroughly enjoyable. They tend to every detail from classical music playing when you come into the room to a rubber ducky humorously residing on the edge of the jacuzzi tub (Prince Albert room). We will be recommending this B&B to anyone traveling to Vermont.
It's the only place to go in southern VT!!!!
Inn Victoria is simply the best inn! We recently stayed in the Princess Helena room and it was just gorgeous! They recently installed a fireplace in the room and it's incredibly romantic. The king sized bed is extremely comfortable and drawing a bath in front of the fire was a wonderful way to unwind.
The inn owners are courteous, attentive, warm and friendly. The breakfast is delicious, and we were treated like royalty. If you stay in Helena or Albert, you must try the jacuzzi. After a long day of skiing, soaking in the hot tub under the stars is heavenly. There are good places to eat nearby, and the best hot chocolate at the cafe next door. Come check it out for yourselves!!
A fantastic getaway hideaway
A very special place to stay at and with hospitality unmatched in Chester.
We discovered this lovely jewel last summer as a one night passing through Vermont.
The rooms are beautiful and each with a charm of its own. Being an Architect I appreciate these things.
The breakfast served by Julie was delicious and served with a smile and pleasant conversation on real china and first class service.
As we were leaving with a promise of return, this was acknowledged with a smile by both Julie and Jon .
We made reservations for a top floor suite with a bath of a size of typical room in other bed and breakfasts, about three month in advance.
This was for our four day ski vacation which turned into a week’s stay, which we enjoyed immensely.
If in Chester or anywhere in this area, for a ski vacation or summer getaway, this is the place to stay without a question and you’ll be greeted with a first class English elegance.
We’ll be back again and again.

Fabulous Inn Vic
As a birthday treat for my wife I reserved a romantic suite at Inn Victoria in Chester, Vt. Their web site, very well done indeed, and local word of mouth is what brought us to the inn but it is the pleasant and cordial reception from the owners, John and Julie, the absolutely wonderful accommodations (the suite, the hot tub, the amazing breakfast, etc), and the friendliness of the area that will keep us coming back. We visit mostly B&B's and country inns when we travel and we would rate the Inn Victoria at the top! We reccomend Inn Vic to anyone visiting the Chester area and wish only the best of luck to John and Julie Pierce.
The most charming Inn imaginable with the most charming hosts possible !
Having known Jon and Julie when they lived in the UK, we were looking forward to seeing their new venture in the US. We certainly weren't disappointed. The Inn is absolutely superb. Jon and Julie have been able to blend modern convenience with an oldie world charm that gives the Inn a character unrivalled in our experience. The rooms are furnished to the very highest standards and provide every comfort that you could wish for.
Jon and Julie have obviously found their true vocation in life and seem to get a great deal of satisfaction from pampering their guests. Nothing seems to be too much trouble for them and they seem to get a genuine Buzz from helping their guests get the most from their stay. Julie is a superb chef and the breakfasts are magnificent to say the least!
We had a fantastic time touring around the local area and Jon and Julie were always on hand to provide guidance on what to see and do. Although we were only in Vermont for 4 days we experienced everything from sledging to eating in a real American diner.
Whether you are looking for a romantic retreat or for somewhere to indulge and pamper yourselves for a few days then you will be hard pushed to beat Inn Victoria!!
loved this b&b
From the warm personal welcome upon our late evening arrival, to our departure with Jon and Julie (the inn-keepers) waving good-bye to us from the front porch as we drove away, our stay at Chester, Vermont's refurbished and revitalised Inn Victora was as ideal as could be. The room and bathroom were immaculate, the breakfast cooked fresh and delicious beyond what we expected, and it's located in a charming town central to most south-central Vermont locations.
Treated like Royalty
We loved everything about our stay at the Inn Victoria. Jon & Julie make you feel special from the moment you walk through the door. The Inn itself is full of beautiful antiques, comfortable furniture & lots of places to sit and enjoy the ambience (nibbling one of Julie's freshly baked cookies).
We felt like royalty as we snuggled into our wonderfully comfortable bed then arose the next morning to be served a gourmet feast served on bone china with plenty of silverware and cut glass to complete the picture. Jon was attentive to our every need & the conversation was lively & informative.
Chester is picture perfect & a great base from which to explore Southern Vermont. The Inn itself is right in the center of the town which means that you can walk to fine restaurants and shops.
We're looking forward to our next visit, it's the perfect romantic escape!
As Good As it Gets
We spent two nights at Inn Victoria in the Princess Alice Room. The bed was the most comfortable bed I can remember sleeping on. The room was beautiful and the Jacuzzi tub was a real treat. Julie and Jon were remarkably good at hosting us and the breakfasts were certainly worth waking up for - real tasty treats! The town of Chester has plenty of charm too.
We eloped at the Inn Victoria. It was absolutetly wonderful. Jon and Julie were very attenttive and did not miss a detail. The Inn was very inviting, the room (Prince Albert) was beautiful, and the food was superb. We can't say enough good about Inn Victoria. We intend on returning for anniversaries. We had a great time and hated leaving. The Inn Victoria is our special place in Vermont and can't wait to return for a visit with Jon and Julie.
