The Inn on the Common, Craftsbury, VT: Colonial Charm right on Craftsbury Common

This inn was built around 1795, and is lovingly run by Penny and Michael Schmitt. Surrounded by a lovely white picket fence, this white clapboard structure gently whispers colonial times. There are about 15 rooms, and a couple of larger suites.

The inn has an excellent wine cellar, and unlike many other Vermont inns, offers a five course dinner, in addition to a terrific full breakfast.
