Wildflower Inn: Secluded B&B

This 21 room B&B consists of a small converted farmhouse, barnhouse, and a few smaller houses surrounding the main house (the picture on my Lyndonville homepage shows most of the B&B). It is a 500 acre property complete with it's own farm (cows, horses, etc) and hiking trails, located on a hilltop accessed by a dirt road.

Basically it is a very very secluded and quiet place with no distractions at all. There are no TV's in the rooms, no big street lights or neon signs, only one phone for all the patrons, and no pretentious things like room service. Cell phones do not work there, either! At night it was so serene because it was completely dark outside and completely silent. It is definitely a romantic place to retreat from the rowdiness of everyday life!

The place had everthing I needed, though. My room in the main house was a huge two bedroom suite with Old American style decor . The B&B has its own restaurant, but has limited seating, so make reservations or eat before you get there!

I highly recommend this place if you are looking for an escape from a busy life, a quiet retreat to catch up on reading, or a secluded romantic getaway. You will definitely feel a world away from everyone here! I know they also offer ski packages for winter and wedding packages, too.

(pictures coming soon)

Yes, there is a pool, but you can also hike, sit in the gazebo and watch the sunset, or check out the animals all without leaving the b&b.
