A Great Place to Spend a Night...or Two

I needed a place to stay after driving to Montpelier from West Dover. The Capitol Plaza was suggested in a travel guide so I decided to give it a try. Well worth it. The hotel is your standard hotel...comparable to a Holiday Inn or Hilton, but smaller. I called the morning of the day I wanted to go to Montpelier and was able to get a room for that night. On the following day when after a busy day of sight seeing I didn't want to go back to West Dover. Again, we were also able to get a room at the last minute for a single night accomodation.

Three meals were eaten in their resturant, J. Morgan's. The food was very good and the prices were reasonable. Wireless internet access is available at no charge, however, anytime you place an outgoing call from the phone in your room you will be charged at least a dollar per call for all calls including local, 800 and 900 numbers, as well as calling card numbers.

TO BE CONTINUED

Unique Quality: The Capitol Plaza is a quiet hotel. The on site restaurant is a great place to eat. The food tastes great and the prices are reasonable for what you receive. The lobby is a comfortable place to sit and gather your thoughts or reminisce about your day. The staff at the front desk are friendly. I'd recommend the Capitol Plaza to anyone lookinf for a comfortable nights rest.
