Kwiniaska Golf Course
Fairly expensive course ($60 for 18 holes plus cart); it ranges from 5200 yards on short tees to 7100 yards on far tees. It plays long in all cases (2-3 hours).
The blue grass fairways and the fescue roughs and bent grass greens are kept in good condition. There are some water tracks on the course but they really do not pose a hazard.
The bunkers and sand traps however are strategically placed to snag any balls that are not well placed onto the fairway. Two fairways are very slanted which tend to kick the ball to the right; most greens are not flat but undulate and some are tiered.
Pro shop, snack bar and restaurant are at the clubhouse area by the parking lot. The local pro will give you good tips on how to play each hole and try to talk you into taking a lesson or two. (Not that I couldn't use some pointers but I don't take my golf that seriously).
The driving range and chipping are will cost you about $5 each.
