Travel Tips for Waterbury
Sugarbush Farm
by PinkFloydActuary
Another maple syrup farm, this one in the Woodstock area. You have the opportunity to take a small nature hike through the woods to see how maple syrup is gathered. Return to the farm to pet their cows and goats, and then visit some of the buildings on the grounds to look at what farm life is like. Finally, stop by the main farmhouse for some free samples of cheese and syrup!
Note, the road from Woodstock to the farm is a little bumpy. We thought we must have gotten lost, but later learned many farm roads in the area are like it....

"Home of Ben and Jerrys"
Admittedly, this wasn't the only reason we chose to visit Vermont. But it didn't hurt! We found Waterbury to be a centrally located stop in northern Vermont. It's within 20 minutes of both Burlington and Montpelier, and all the attractions they have to offer. This page will cover some of the sights there are to see in Vermont.
