More about Snow Goose Inn
This has been our 3rd visit at the Snow Goose Inn and each time we have enjoyed our stay. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Agree with the other reviewers that Cyndee & Ron are great hosts, making sure your comfortable. Cyndee will cook you a wonderful healthy breakfast (whole grain toast, fruit etc) but we did cheat a little and had her great bacon!
A Cozy Winter Retreat
My husband and I just returned from a very enjoyable weekend at the lovely & friendly Snow Goose Inn. Our room (#2) was cozy & comfortable, with its own fireplace. The breakfast was outstanding- from Cyndee's omelettes with Vermont cheddar, diced ham, fresh spinach, mushrooms, and tomatoes, to her fluffy delicious blueberry pancakes! We also enjoyed spending time in the parlor each evening at 5:30 when Cyndee served wine with cheese & crackers It was a great chance to meet and chat with other guests and enjoy Cyndee's hospitality.
Another nice thing about the Snow Goose is that it's located in a pretty area of the state with plenty to do. We enjoyed spending a few hours each day snowmobiling on the VAST trail. Some other guests enjoyed skiing at Mt. Snow, and others just spent the day relaxing. There are quite a few choices nearby for dinner. We liked the restaurant right next door, Hennesy's. First we enjoyed the singer & acoustic guitar player while we waited for our table. Then we were seated by a nice fireplace, and our dinners were very good.
We look forward to returning for another great weekend at the Snow Goose.
Gorgeous, picture postcard, winter wonderland inn
My husband and I spent just under a week at the Snow Goose. It was our first visit there and we plan to make many more.
From the moment you walk in, you notice that there is a real warmth about the place. Cyndee was there to greet us and she has to be one of the most hospitable people you will ever meet. She immediately made us feel very welcome, making a few recommendations for dinner. Take her advice, she knows what she is talking about!! She will go out of her way to help you.
The rooms are gorgeous, very comfortable with beautiful linens and the jacuzzi bath a real treat after a day on the slopes.
Her breakfast is delicious, her pancakes and eggs benedectict to die for. All the produce is excellent quality.
Both Cyndee and Ron will make you feel so welcome. We could not highly recommend this place and intend to make it our annual ski vacaction. It truly is a slice of heaven. We loved it.
Snow Goose is charming and comfortable - very much a "feel right at home" place. Cyndee, the innkeeper, couldn't be more welcoming and accommodating. Our room was spacious, yet cozy and private, with a really comfortable bed - plus it had a terrific view of the Vermont scenery. Wine in the afternoon is a nice touch, and the cooked-to-order breakfast is amazing - the bacon is the best ever.
Western MA Gourmet Buddies
For the past 2 years we have spent a week-end together at the Snow Goose Inn as an annual get-away for our gourmet club. From the moment we checked in it was a wonderful experience enhanced by the owners, Cyndee and Ron's hospitality. They went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and relaxed. The rooms are charming, immaculate and spacious with each one having it's own character complete with jacuzzi and fireplace. The homemade to order breakfast each morning is delicious and the dining room is a great place to begin your day. Cyndee's bacon is the best!!! The Inn is easily located with good restaurants, golf and skiing nearby. We will definitely return.
Warmed in VT...from sunny FL
The Snow Goose Inn was a last minute added highlight to my Vermont skiing adventure. Our hosts, Cindee and Ron have never met a stranger and their hospitality was nothing short of delightful.
The room was very comfortable and roomy, including a fireplace and most importantly a fabulous oversized Jacuzzi tub!
The afternoon wine, tasty Vermont cheddar and chatting, all hit the spot. Cindee made reservations at an Italian Trattoria, which lived up to my every expectation!
Before my journey south, we enjoyed a lovely homemade breakfast...fresh, delicious, and endless choices. Did I mention the bacon...Y'all haven't seen the last of me!
Elegance and Warmth
This is not the first time we've visited the Snow Goose--we've been staying there on ski vacations for at least 6 years. We've tried a lot of places in the region in the past but once we stayed at the Snow Goose, we never needed to look elsewhere again! The breakfast is prepared by a professional chef (innkeeper, Cyndee) and can't be beat anywhere in the area. The rooms are all different and all charming--the pre-set fires in the working fireplaces in many rooms are a rare treat! The wine and cheese gatherings in front of the roaring fire in the common room are just what is needed after a full day of fresh air on the slopes. Cyndee and Ron can't do enough for their guests; from providing internet access to calling for (and getting!) reservations for dinner on a busy weekend--nothing is too much trouble. The staff is efficient, friendly and professional and the innkeepers are so hospitable that it's really difficult to leave when the holiday is over! My only hesitation in recommending this inn is the possiblity of interesting so many people in staying here that it'll be difficult for me to get a reservation the next time I want one!
loved the snow goose inn
We had the best time ever. The Snow Goose inn is so warm and homey, weather you just want to relax and read a book on the comfy couch in the living room, have cocktails on the deck,or the unbelievable extra large bath tubs. We golfed at nearby Mount snow, and haystack mountain golf club,Haystack being in great shape. The owners of the Inn Doug and Cindy were so friendly and knowlegable about things to do in the area. The breakfast is worth getting up for, home baked muffins every morning along with anything else you could want. I'm not a breakfast eater but I
wouldn't miss it at the Snow Goose. I guarantee you will not be disappointed if you stay here.

Super Dog Friendly!!!
Super dog friendly!! Innkeeper Cyndee is a dog lover and made my dog feel very welcomed. They served us breakfast on the outdoor deck so my dog didn't have to stay back in the room. I didn't ask for anything for him, but they brought him a plate of bacon and eggs!! The down side is that the Dover/Wilmington area isn't very dog friendly. I couldn't find an outdoor restaurant that would allow him to join us.
Great B&B. We were not disappointed and enjoyed our second visit as much as the first. The hospitality of Cyndee and her crew is what made the difference. We have stayed at many B&B's and few of them are as nice as the Snow Goose Inn.
