There are many pleasant bed and breakfasts inn in the area. However, I recommend The Martha Washington Inn. This gorgeous Inn was once the all girls college started by George Washington's wife, Martha. It is a very historic Inn and they offer 'Ghost Tours' to visitors.

Not much to see here but well worth the stop to eat at the Martha Washington Inn. Excellent food, lovely dining room. Expensive to overnight at $400.00. Note the theatre across the street from there its were Gregory Peck got his start, and Ernest Borgnine appears regularly.
