Excuse, I didn't sleep in Charles City but I got to know that 3 of 9 James River Plantations houses bed & breakfast accommodations:
- A Bed & Breakfast Edgewood
- Piney Grove at Southall's Plantation Bed & Breakfast lodging
- North Bend Plantation
They are expensive, always over $100 per night.
Less expensive (below $100.00) option are the two accommodatons:
- Red Hill Bed & Breakfast
- Orange Hill Bed & Breakfast.
If your budget for accommodations is lower, look for economic motel/hotel in Richmond.
