The best food i have ever eaten was at the Clifton Inn in Charlottesville, VA
The chef comes out before dinner and lovingly describes what she is going to prepare for you. You are welcome to come in the kitchen at anytime during dinner and watch. You can ask for seconds of anything. She gives you home baked cookies to take home with you. Everything was divine, but especially a potato soup topped with blini and caviar
