The pool looked very inviting but neither of got a chance to use it. Free breakfast included everything we could have asked for; waffles for Jill, bagels for me, cereal and toast for anyone else who didn't want what we had. I think there were some microwavable breakfast sandwiches with eggs and bacons. The coffee was good. The orange juice was plentiful.
One thing that always frustrates me a little on these trips to the east coast is that breakfast often ends at 9:30. If we aren't up for business bright an early, that's 6:30 for us traveling from the West coast and it can be tough to get to the breakfast room in time. We often miss out on the first couple of days.
The lobby has lots of comfortable sitting areas and a small business center that consists of a computer with internet connection, printer and comfortable business chair. When I came down to wait for colleagues to strategize the next day's business meeting, there were three young men watching some porn on youtube.
We got the room for $94 including taxes. Not bad in this day when it's getting hard to find a room for under $100 bucks. We really need to adjust that travel policy!
