They have a heated indoor pool (which we did not get a chance to try).
They gave us cookies and said there was tea and coffee anytime.
There is a good hot breakfast (with cranberry juice) and it includes waffles, scrambled eggs and sausage in addition to hot and cold cereal, bagels, pastries and toast.
Unique Quality: There is a fridge and microwave in the room.

We absolutely love this hotel! We have been gonig to Chincoteague for the past few years and were so happy to find this gem. The views are wonderful, staff is very friendly and helpful, the rooms are spotless and large, and the free breakfast is a great perk. After staying at a couple other hotels on this island, this one is by far the best.
Great stay - again

We stayed at this Hampton Inn for the fourth time in April 2006. We stayed in the middle of the week over my wife’s spring break, and for the first time, we did not bring the kids with us. We stayed two nights. I’ve stayed at dozens of Hampton Inn around the country during my business travels, and the Chincoteague Hampton Inn is by far my favorite. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet in the AM is the best “continental” breakfast I’ve every seen, and the dinning area has an incredible view of the Chincoteague/Assateague Sound. I highly recommend this wonderful hotel.
Excellent choice in Chincoteague

We stayed at the Hamptonn Inn over the 4th of July week-end. This is our second time in Chincoteague. The hotel is very well kept, clean, cozy, with a great view of the sound. Beds are excellent, and staff is VERY friendly. I highly recommend it, although in high season the price is quite steep (around $180 per night).
Wonderful & Relaxing Visit

We just returned from our visit to the Hampton Inn in Chincoteague Va.. We had a wonderful & relaxing visit. The hotel is beautiful. Being a Hilton Honor we were upgraded to the water front view. Even if you had the side view it would have been nice. I loved just sitting on the chairs on our private balcony watching the boats go by. Also they had a little toy crocodile on the boardwalk & it was funny to see the people trying to figuire if it was real or not. The beds were really comfortable.
Best Kept Secret

If you are looking for a great hotel, fantastic views, friendly staff, great breakfast bar, clean and spacious rooms that is closeby to everything than this is your place. The prices are reasonable, there are a number of great restaurants, shopping and activities all within walking distance and the sunsets are spectacular!
We can't wait to go back.
Great place to stay in Chincoteague!
by TripAdvisor Member chessiemd
We have stayed in many places in Chincoteague over the years, from private rental houses to most of the major hotels. The Hampton Inn was wonderful. The staff was friendly and helpful, the hotel very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and the tea and coffee service was welcome after a cold rainy walk around town. Make sure you stay in a waterfront room - it is an amazing view!
