Father Christmas at the Mall
The only redeeming value to visiting a shopping mall at Christmas is seeing the little nippers queue up to sit on Father Christmas' lap, giving them their want list, and having a snap taken of them together. It reminds me of a simpler time when I was doing similarly at Eastgate Mall (now named Fairfield Commons) and at Miller & Rhoads downtown.
