On a sunny Sunday afternoon, this route is Biker's Heaven. A chance to be with your best friend and your girl, too. That fresh mountain air somehow refurbishes the spirit. And you never know when you just might run into an old man with a camera.
"Lover's Leap"
A beautiful overlook, especially in the fall. One view along Route 58, between Martinsville and Hillsville. This route crosses the Blue Ridge Parkway.
"Rest for the Weary"
Nature's brush has painted the mountains in resplendent color. This photo was a bit late in the season, at a rest stop on the interstate.
