Holiday Inn At Carradoc Hall
I have mixed feelings about this place. It's very nice and extremely quiet, and has easy access to Rt. 7.
However, I swear this place is haunted. There's this eerie feeling about this place (especially the rooms near the back by the pool), and I never really slept well due to this. Also, the creepy pictures of the kid portraits in the rooms do not help either. I cannot explain them well enough--you'd have to see them.
That being said, I believe this place is somewhat touted as a romantic type of hotel. I'm not sure I'd agree with that, but they do have a nice ballroom.
Unique Quality: As a mansion-turned-hotel, it's pretty cool. They have the normal stuff you would expect from a Holiday Inn (onsite restaurant, nice rooms, wifi access). Also, the staff is very friendly, especially with directions and other dining suggestions.
