The Bunker!: Bunker sleeping accomodations

We can sleep 12-14 people quite comfortably-- more if you include camping 'round the side of the house. [For Marg & A. Leland: all sheets are >= 300 thread count.] Here's what's available:

The Loft-- this is ours!

Private & quiet back bedroom with full air mattress & queen futon (pretty comfy). See photo.

The denitory (den + dorm) with two twin beds and one twin futon (very comfy). See photo. Be prepared for rapturous sunrises.

Semi-private, semi-quiet study-bedroom with full futon (also pretty comfy).

Couch in the living room-- a popular spot for people (or dogs) who like to snuggle up with A/C units. See photo.

4-6 person tent which can be put up on the property. It has an associated out door ClubHouse.

Two baths.

Unique Quality: 1) Fishing in the Shenandoah. Our put in is less than a five minute walk from the house.

2) Rafting or tubing on the river.

3) Watching the canoes, rafts and tubes float down the river-- when the water's low we set folding chairs up in the middle of the river (bungie cords hold the cooler in place).

4) The winery tour-- ideal for Saturday afternoons, takes about 3.5 hours and ends at the Bunker Winery.

5) Luray Caverns.

6) Civil War stuff.

7) Antiquing.

8) Shenandoah National Park, etc.
